This pinch-to-zoom feature of Mac sometimes irritates you as you could be working on some official project. How to Disable Pinch to Zoom Gesture in Safari & Mac OS X

Step #1. Go to the Apple menu and click on System Preferences. Step #2. Click on Trackpad. On the Trackpad screen, you can see three buttons in header: Point & Click, Scroll & Zoom, and More Gestures. Step #3. Click on the second option, i.e. Scroll & Zoom. Again, you can see four check-boxes: Step #4. Uncheck “Zoom in or out”. This action will have immediate effect on the zoom in and out option on the trackpad of Mac. Please note that you won’t be able to use this feature anywhere in your Mac. On webpages opened in Safari, you can use keyboard shortcuts to zoom in and zoom out photos and other content. We have observed that new Mac users face this issue frequently as their fingers are not acclimatized with trackpad, and therefore, they fall in the trap of zoom-in, zoom-out when they want to hover cursor on an icon or application.
